DCT Fluid
We rely on Redline to minimize friction and manage heat in our DCT builds. For reference, a BMW 7-Speed that is fully emptied will need about 10q when paired with a large cooler.
To check level, fill transmission as much as you can and then get the transmission warm and run it through the gears. Remove the fill plug and fill until fluid reaches the opening. Run it through the gears again and recheck. This may take several tries, but it is important to fully fill the transmission.
