Everything you need to convert to an indestructible yet lightweight Ford 8.8 setup. This complete kit includes a custom steel subframe, a carbon clutch LSD, billet stubs, massive axle bars, and a one-piece aluminum driveshaft. It’s designed to fit E30 and Z3M models equipped with larger 5-lug Z3M trailing arms (part numbers 33322227967 & 33322227968).

About the Kit: This kit utilizes a 2006–2010 Ford Explorer/Mountaineer IRS (Independent Rear Suspension) 8.8" differential. Renowned for its forward-thinking design, the Ford 8.8 differential is lightweight—about 15 lbs lighter than the iron BMW M differentials—and offers a vast aftermarket parts selection, far surpassing what’s available for BMW differentials. The Ford 8.8 is the go-to differential for countless performance swaps, and for good reason. Its availability of gear ratios, limited-slip carriers, and rebuild kits from leading brands makes it an incredibly versatile choice.
Subframe: The steel subframe is CNC-bent, laser-cut, TIG-welded, and powder-coated for ultimate durability and precision. Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA by Fresh Produce Mfg., this subframe offers full camber and toe adjustability via included OEM-style cam bolts. CAD-designed and modeled for a perfect fit, it maintains identical suspension pick-up points to the original OEM subframe. The rear differential mount plate is included and needs to be welded to your chassis.
Axles: To ensure the power reaches the ground, this kit includes an axle package as tough as the Ford 8.8 differential itself. SLG/Gforce axles are trusted to be among the strongest on the market, holding multiple records. Our axles feature an ABS trigger wheel to maintain factory-like performance. The package also includes a billet inner stub that seamlessly slide into any 31-spline Ford 8.8 differential.
Outlaw Upgrade: For those who demand even more, our Outlaw Upgrade takes performance to the next level. These axles feature upgraded billet alloy internals with an isotropic surface finish that provides a mirror-like polish. This finishing significantly reduces friction, heat, and wear, while improving grease migration for smoother CV joint operation. Each Outlaw axle is equipped with premium ARP fasteners, making it the strongest axle assembly on the market.
Exotic Stub Upgrade: For ultimate strength, our Exotic Stub Upgrade offers outer stubs made from an even stronger material than the 300M alloy used in the standard axles. The outer stub is designed to handle extreme shock loads during hard launches. This upgraded alloy gives you the confidence to launch aggressively without fear of failure, providing unmatched durability.
