Heater Core Delete & Head Vent
We liked the idea of removing the heater core from the cooling system of our track car like traditional block-off plates already on the market allow, but we didn't want any possibility of hot spots and bubble retention in the back of the cylinder head.
To get around this and create a more robust cooling system we made our own block off plate that features a 1/8 NPT threaded hole that lets you either vent it to a coolant swirl pot/expansion tank like we do, install a temperature or pressure sensor, or use the included plug to use it traditionally.

- Gold anodized billet 6061 aluminum block off plate
- ARP Fasteners
- Coolant port plug (1/8 NPT)
Install Instructions
- Drain Coolant.
- Remove factory coolant hose flange.
- Clean cylinder head surface.
- Prepare cylinder head surface and plate with Grey RTV
- Assemble according to RTV instructions
- Vent or plug plate
- Track the car
