MAP Sensors
Genuine LINK MAP sensors. These are what you should always use to avoid any costly problems. Comes in four different versions. They all:
- Include a 3-pin Deutsch DTM connector kit
- Are easy to mount via 2 bolt holes. Note that the sensor should be mounted higher than the intake manifold port that the hose connects to.
- feature compact aluminium enclosure
- Have very high resolution readings
- Mechanical connection via 4mm (3/16″) hose connector nipple.
1.15 Bar Sensor:
The Link 1.15 Bar MAP sensor reads up to 1.15 Bar absolute pressure. This means it is suitable for use in naturally aspirated engines. This MAP sensor can also be used in applications where positive intake pressures of up to 0.15 Bar (approx 2 PSI) are expected (eg. Ram-air effect). The wiring pinout for this sensor is marked directly on the housing.
2.5 Bar Sensor:
The Link 2.5 Bar MAP sensor reads up to 2.5 Bar absolute pressure. This means that it is suitable for turbo or supercharged applications running up to 1.5 Bar (approx 22psi) of boost pressure. The wiring pinout for this sensor is marked directly on the sensor.
3 Bar Sensor:
This Link MAP sensor reads up to 3 Bar absolute pressure. This means that it is suitable for turbo or supercharged applications running up to 2.0 Bar (or 29psi) of boost pressure. The wiring pinout for this sensor is indicated on the sensor.
4 Bar Sensor:
The Link 4 Bar MAP sensor reads up to 4 Bar absolute pressure. This means that it is suitable for turbo or supercharged applications running up to 3.0 Bar (or 44psi) of boost pressure. The wiring pinout for this sensor is marked directly on the sensor.
