These custom motorsport-grade coiled wire sets are sluper slinky and durable so unless you try throwing the steering wheel out of the car while moving, which would be a bigger problem, your switches will keep working. They feature a matte jacket that is very similar to DR-25 material. 
 
Available with 4, 8 or 13 internal wire options. Internal wires are 26ga; perfect for CAN and switches.
